A small-town theatre group has been gifted a new theatre by a deceased philanthropist — with a catch: the low-talent grandson plays the lead. Retiring Director Halley Hasbeen has rewritten Phantom of the Opera as a Christmas musical. Two nights only — Saturday November 30, 2019 (Maitland MERC Hall) and Friday December 6, 2019 (Brockville Country Club).
